TAJMAHAL WORLD WONDER IN INDIA

Tajmahal is the one of the world wonders in the world.Yamuna, is most alluring in the relative quietness of early morning, shrouded mists as the colour changes from soft yellow to pearly cream and then the most dazzling white. The Taj Mahal is generally considered as the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements of Persian, Indian and Islamic craftsmenship. Built by emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal has become a epitome of love because of the romance of its inspiration. This enduring icon of India, which even today captures the imagination of billions across the world, is indeed a  fascination to experience on your next visit to India.

The Tajmahal is situated at Agra. The legend story behind the tajmahal is the Shajahan loved his wife very much after her death he planned to bulid Tajmahal for her memories.Taj Mahal means 'Crown Palace' and is in fact the most well preserved and architecturally beautiful tomb in the world. Walk amidst the lush green manicured gardens and see the marble magic standing stately as a symbol of eternal love; affording an ambrosial green and white matrix of colours.

The tomb is set against the shimmering sands of river Yamuna and it is believed that it is this background that works for its magic of colours that, through their reflection, change the view of the Taj.The colours change at different hours of the day and during different seasons; portraying different moods of a woman. The Taj is pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden when the moon shines before its marble head.

ONAMAKOSHAM IN KERELA

Onam is the one of the famous and dedicated festival in kerela.Onam is coming once in a year and in behind many traditions are there. It falls during the first month of theMalayalam calendar which is Chingam (August–September) and marks the homecoming of the legendary KingMahabali. The festival lasts for ten days and is linked to many elements of Kerala's culture and tradition. Intricate flower carpets, elaborate banquet lunch, snake boat races, Puli Kali, and the kaikottikkali dance all play a part in the festival.

According to the legend, Kerala witnessed its golden era during the reign of King Mahabali. Everybody in the state was happy and prosperous and the king was highly regarded by his subjects. He was that much highly regarded among the subjects that even the Gods under Indra became jealous of Mahabali, they approached Mahavishnu claiming that Mahabali is now equivalent to an Indra. Since a world with two Indras represents imbalance, Mahavishnu assumed the form of a dwarf: the Vamana avatara and tricked him to Pathalam, the Underworld. However, as Mahabali is equal to an Indra, he is to wait until the next Yuga where he would be the Indra. In the meantime, with the grace of Mahavishnu, Mahabali visits his people on an annual basis. Mahavishnu serves Mahabali as a gatekeeper in the world of Pathalam as the Lord himself serves his greatest devotees.

It is this visit of Mahabali that is celebrated as Onam every year. People celebrate the festival in a grand way and impress upon their dear King that they are happy and wish him well. This was the traditional story behind the Onam.Onam is celebrated grantly in Kerela on the day of onam many playes have been arranged to encourage the kids, youth and senior citizens.Onam stands apart from the festival. It stands as the festival of unity and culture.
